Sunday at the Arboretum

This morning, my friend Mark, Ursa, and I headed to my favorite place in town: the Acton Arboretum. There's a beautiful garden around every corner begging to be painted. Ursa greeted all the dogs that walked by our picnic table as we busied ourselves with black cohosh, day lilies, and bee balm. Something about plein air painting makes time fly, even on a hot and sunny day.
